Definitely. I love it. I suppose people hate it becaus they think the Fatal Five in unconnected (which it's not, really. It's used as further evidecne that Strahm was the new Jigsaw) I liked the backstory on Hoffman. I think some of the traps are fantastic. The Pendulum, Water Cube, Saw Table and Crushing Room. The whole opening was amazing. I love the music over the opening title. Real depressing, putting you in the mood of the movie. I liked Strahm (although when he talked to himself it was real awkward) The Fatal Five twist was great. The Strahm twist was hardly a twist as they show Hoffman setting up Strahm. But I suppose the fact that if he did get in the box, he actually would live was a twist. The ending is just fantastically epic.
Daivd Hackl did a great job. People probably don't like because of the script he got, not his directing.
It's actually a very dark movie. There are very few light scenes.
But it's up there for me.
